The Living Love the Dead Enough to Steal Them! Is Resident Evil 6 To Die For?
Apparently, gamers love this franchise so much they are willing to steal it to get it early. Some are just eager to sell the game way ahead of its October 2nd release. Copies of Resident Evil 6 shipped to Poland for sale were stolen. Although Capcom would not comment on exactly how many were stolen, many were sold with one copy even turning up on eBay. This has been shown to be risky for many who are bold enough to buy or download stolen copies of console games. Not only could there be legal repercussions, but they could lose what they value the most: their ability to play online. Yes, folks enjoy their vices more than they fear the law. Halo 3 was leaked online back in 2007. Any Xbox Live accounts found to have played the game were banned for life or until the year 9999 (whichever comes first). So, it actually behooves the true gamer to wait until the real version hits the streets.
From the game’s screenshots, it is no wonder fans are ready to get their hands on it. I remember when the original game was introduced and it had grown men squealing like children. The graphics on this one look fantastic and so do the ghouls. The premise of this game is that it has been ten years since the Raccoon City mess, and POTUS has decided to reveal the truth about what has happened. Hopeful that this will curb the bioterrorist tide, they suffer a setback when the President is transformed into one of the vile creatures by an attack. Leon S. Kennedy, the President’s friend and right hand man si forced to take drastic measures. Meanwhile, one of the old favorites, Chris Redfield battles the bio-threat overseas. New characters are also introduced as the heroes battle this global threat. For all of the fans, this will be one to watch for.
