Is the New iPhone the Second Coming or Just Hype?

Of course it seems small when all things are taken into consideration, but the iPhone has a flaw with its own map application.  Instead of using Google’s, it has incorporated its own flawed version.  Most people swear by Google Maps and use it religiously to accurately find their locations and get to them quickly.  It has been said it is the next best thing to already knowing how to get somewhere.  Apple‘s map app is said to frequently give strange directions and to even misplace cities!  It is said to also show no directions for well-known searches and landmarks.  Can you imagine not being able to find the White House because it does exist?  Apple stated the application will slowly get better since it is a cloud-based application.  Google has become a strong competitor smartphone hardware especially after acquiring Motorola Mobility in May 2012.  Google is ready to make its own bid for domination and go for the big win.  So, it looks as though Apple wants to cut into the competition.

Each new iPhone version, like most new toys, has had its glitches.  Dropped calls, mysterious antenna problems, and of course, the complaint of many electronic device users, low battery life.  No matter what the issues have been, customers love this device!  There seem to be no amount of issues it can have and people will still fight to have it.  What used to be strictly a music device now seems to constantly beat the competition.  With each new version, Apple is primed and read to try and run the smartphone market.  Some view Apple the way Microsoft used to be viewed:  as the Evil Empire.  It’s reign is growing.  But, how fast and will the competition be able to keep up with its flood of software and applications?  Only time will tell.
